Abel's model as a tool for forming strategic alternatives for business development in microelectronics

The article considers the development of strategic management methods in the field of general purpose technologies, which go beyond industry boundaries. Using the example of microelectronics, which is part of the space of advanced manufacturing technologies, the article shows the possibilities of using D. Abel's three-dimensional model to analyze competition and strategic alternatives for the development of companies in microelectronics. The multi-vector strategies of the main players are structured from the standpoint of market and technological development. The obtained results contribute to the theory of strategic business management in the era of technological transformation.
